I have tried to start IP Office 500 V2 for the first time, but what i see is flashing orange lights on CPU, System SD and Optional SD. There is no explanation for orange flashing in documentation.

Is there an Avaya SD card in it?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Yes, there is system sd card and optional. Is there a difference which card is in which slot?

IP Office should boot from SD card /primary folder ip500V2.bin file. Then it should apply default configuration for the first time. License should be entered after, or can be copied into /primary folder as keys.txt file. However i don't have license key, nor keys.txt file. Where i should get them? Sales team doesn't gave me. But i think IP Office shouldn't flash orange without license. It seems that it doesn't find ip500v2.bin file.

Are you a trained engineer, or just trying to wing it? :-)

Do i need to reboot IP Office with reset button?
Its first IP Office 500 V2, and i don't want to corrupt SD cards.

I'm working with CM and older IP Office systems. IP 500 is first in my hands. :)

Bit of both then, first boot takes ages, like 5 mins. Then you need to chage mode (2-3 mins) then you're good to go :-)

How should i change mode? I can't connect to IP Office, it doesn't boot up.

Flashing amber light every 2-3 seconds is the heartbeat of the system. It is normal operating mode.

auskar85... I have had an issue where, for some unknown reason, when I first put the SD card into my IP Office it seems to go into an endless boot cycle.

Power off the system, remove and reinstall the System SD Card (in its proper slot) and then restart.

It should come up then.

Hope this helps.

Regards

After sending to repair center, IP 500 V2 now works fine. However, when i load csv license file it shows Dormant instead of Valid.

Which licence shows dormant?
When you have a preferred edition licence without an essential edition licence then the preferred will be dormant.

We have no Preferred edition license. Avaya Softphone License, Essential Edition License and Avaya IP Endpoint license shows Dormant

What is your dongle number? i think you have the wrong serials.

I have created some SIP users, and now it shows valid
