I currently run an IP Office 406 v2 on 4.2.4, this has 39 extensions (some digital some IP). 3 of the extensions are in external sites connected via ADSL & site2site VPN.
I'm looking at a proposal to join a sister company on this system - they have a dozen fixed handsets but only ever use 3 or 4 external lines.
We would purchase 3 or 4 SIP licences for the system and route their incoming via this as well as their outgoing traffic so they get the right presentation number. I'm thinking of suggesting a mixture of 5610's and 5602's as the handsets.
The site2site VPN via ADSL (currently in place) has 448k upload speed on both sites and 6-8Mb download. The VPN carries very little data traffic - just my own remote support which I'll flip to a different line.
Cost savings would be £800 in the first year and over £2k in subsequent years - providing the system works!
Any comments (positive and negative please!)
