IP Office 406 DS Version 3.2(561101) VPNPhone Question

I have a IP Office 406 DS Version 3.2(561101) <-- Found this in the IP office Manager software under the Control Unit Section.

We have a mixed enviroment of Phones most are 4406D+ and some are 5610SW IP Phones. What I would like to confirm is if it is possible to use implement the VPNPhone firmware for the 5610SW IP Phones and if so will it run on our current firmware? We would be connecting it to our Cisco ASA 5510 Firewall.. I have read that it will work with the ASA's but I just want confirmation that it will work or existing 406 DS.

yes it will work but is unsupported and may only work for 180days. I have it running on a few 3.2 sites with no issue.

with the version of firmware I am running on my IP office which iw 3.2(561101) do I need to configure the licensing under the license tab or can i ignore this step. I am getting mixed answers on the documentation to implement this. Is there any documentation that gives step by step procedures to configure this feature?

On 3.2 there are no licenses that will work. you can follow the instructions for 4.0/4.1

Thanks kevin... so it should work it is just unsupported and may only work for 180 days.
