IP Forwarding

We currently have win2k server running handing out users account.. We do not have the dns configured for the server though. Our DNS is handed out elsewhere on a DHCP Server. Unfortunately I can't use group policies unless DNS is running and configured on the win2kserver Is there a way to Enable and config the dns on the win2kserver and send it to our DHCP server to pickup the real DNS?

well u can try enabling the dns forwarders in ur DNS
and can give the IP of the real DNs server

hi again

go to the DNS snap-in in mmc, right-click on the local server name, and choose properties
Go to the forwarders tab, and enable forwarders
Fill in the address of the real DNS server and click OK
