IP/Digital to SIP Station Caller ID

I hope I'm overlooking something stupid here!

I have a mixed environment of H.323 and digital phones. We're just starting to test SIP phones, but I'm not all that well versed and having a small issue.

SIP to SIP station - Caller ID is fine on both phones
SIP to IP/Dig Station - Caller ID is fine on both phones
IP/Dig Station to SIP Station - Caller ID says Anonymous on the SIP phone and is fine on the IP/Dig (invite says T: 25654001 F: anonymous@anonymous)

Running CM and SM 6.3

Maybe you're just missing "send name and number" or something on your sig/trunk group from CM to SM.

Maybe SIP-SIP is fine because the phones are populating it themselves and your H323 to SIP fails because that's where CM needs to lookup trunk group configs to determine what, if anything, to send.

Also, public/private unknown numbering tables!

When I do a list trace on the CM it looks like it's sending the name, but not the CPN over the SIP trunk to the SM.

Our private numbering table is set up and the trunk is set to private. I've tried the routing pattern with unk-unk and lev0-pvt as number formats.

Run traceSM on the session manager and see exactly what its receiving in the invite.

From there you can hopefully figure out what is happening.

also when you run your list trace from CM append /s to the station you are tracing as it will provide a m,ore detailed sip output , post the traceSM and list trace here so we can see what is happening.
