Guys,

Anyone of you that had the issue before where a dect basestation does not want to sync?

I did do a hard reset, and re-configured the base station, but still the device overview says 'Not init' under the sync status.

Even when the base station is the sync master itself.

Yes seen it, a reboot fixed it.
Sometimes it seems to be in an endless sync while a reboot get it to sync straight away.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Peter,

Yes, I did do a reboot.

Even a complete factory default reset and re-configuration and even a firmware update.

But still no joy.

Do you have have an IPBSv3 and downgraded it to R5.x or R6.x? Those only support 7.x (7.2 I think) Firmware...

Indeed only 7.2

Took me a few hours once when I had to replace one base station within a 6.1 Dect system.

It's a 9.1 version

Customers has about 7 base stations, and only this one fails.

Well, if it looks like its broken, it probaply is....

Does it also fail as a slave?
Reset it and configure the ip settings.
Then from the master add it and leave it for a couple of hours.

Yes, it also fails as a slave.

If I look in the master, the sync status is displayed as 'Not init'

If I look in the dect sender, the sync is displayed as 'not configured'

But it is configured.

I have he same with a added Compact DECTv3 in a existing environment with DECT R4v1.
The Compact DECTv3 does not sync in any way with the older types.

It should as this works wel with the Mitel version.
Avaya messed it up again probably.

You just have to update the whole DECT solution to 7.2

Yoh can downgrade the v3 base station to 6.x but they will not work.
