Hi all, next week i`m gona install a brand new IP DECT R4 system with aroung 19,3725 phone and 10 base station.
Do you guys have any advise on what is the best software release for this IP DECT setup?
It will run on IPO 7.0(5)
Thanks
I read about numerous issues with the 4.1.30 firmware for the DECT and am doing a 3 base station installation on Monday, so spent the best part of the last two days configuring it up on this firmware and then testing it (loads of phone calls across it) and am happy to say that it is working with no issues (no memory leakage). The system is going in on 7.0(23).
I have also just checked our in house DECT (just one base station) which has been in for about 6 weeks on the 4.1.30 firmware and again their is no memory leak showing on this. This system is still on 7.0(12)
Both systems have compact base stations for all base stations - which obviously you wont be using - so Im wondering whether the issue with the 4.1.30 firmware is only on non compact base stations.
Bas1234, provision mode is great.
Easier to maintain but i think the most problems are with provisioning.
I did an install today with 5 compact dect base stations on 4.1.30 and i had no issues at all.
But monday is the busiest day and D-day so perhaps some issues will occur (or not)
I had a strange problem with an earlier version from a reseller, started all over again and the problem was gone.
Provisioning is a bit more programming, but when it works is much faster when you have a lot of handsets. Had a strange one 2 weeks ago, could register any handset. All setting on the dect where good, deleted the IPDect trunk in the IPO and it came up on both sites connect over a VPN.

It works! Now if only I could remember what I did...
That is a strange one.
We had once a system prepared at the office.
Then it all went on site and it never worked again until we resetted both IPO and dect.
