It is my understanding that IP Agents are polled systematically via the CLAN to determine if their status, etc. has changed. What is the timeout on that polling response and is it possible to modify it to compensate for unusual LAN delays? I appreciate any input.

Thanks,
Lee

I don't know about this, but I foudn with IP agent, you'd better pur a wait time prompt in front of the first announcement line. If you don't, callers tend to hear the first couple of words of the first annoucement even when an agent is idle. This is due to LAN delays.

To date I don't think we can customised this.
So far Avaya will treat this case by case and release the Service Pack based on the comment or complaint. I think they recompile this program after adding necessary delay and timing needed.

The suggestion by beddows is good.
