I am in the process of upgrading to IP Agent and I'm having a hard time getting the new installs to accept the import reg file of a station that I have painstakingly built, for the sole purpose of using it's labels and toolbar placement. Do I have to modify the reg file in order for it to be used as a generic template? Any info would be a huge help.
Thanks

i have also tried copying one registry setting of an IPagent. It seems it doesnt work.

I think you'll have to modify the registry file for every new station that you build. At least that's what we do - if anyone knows an easier way, I'm all ears.

For example; the template station that you created is x1234; you want new x5678 to match.

Open the reg file that you create from 1234.
Use find/replace to replace 1234 with 5678. Then import the modified reg file when setting up IP Agent for x5678.

Hope this helps.
