Hello!
Generally, it is not a problem to get the MAC address of the access point to which my wireless PC card is associated, but I am having trouble to figure the IP address of the access point (from inside a program). I tried sending RARP packets, which I know are delivered to the target (AP, Linux box, Solaris workstation), but non of these sends a RARP reply.
Can anyone help with this. I need either to fix the RARP approach or to find some other way to get the IP address of the access point.
regards
joro
