IOS version of TOP

There was a great command in CAT OS called TOP. If your network seemed sluggish you could use the TOP command to dicsover your TOP talkers.

Is there an equilivant in the IOS?

I think the closest thing in IOS is to setup netflow.

Then I like to setup the top-talkers...but this isn't on all devices.

ip flow-export version 5
ip flow-export destination xx.xx.xx.xx 9995

!setup top-talkers
ip flow-top-talkers
top 10
sort-by bytes

Have you been able to do this on a 6509 with MSFC? I have had trouble with Netflow on this device. I even opened a ticket with Cisco and it seems Netflow can only be setup in one direction and doesn't really work that well.

I have Netflow configured on my edge routers and really like it.

Yep, I've got it running on several 6509's with the SUP720s.

Knowing it's a 6500 environment, here are a few other commands I have entered in:

no mls flow ip
no mls flow ipv6
