What would cause a screen to become inverted. I have checked all the simple settings and easy solutions and have found nothing. Any ideas?

Assuming the problem is what you describe, have you tried the adjustment buttons on the monitor?

Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Also test the backup to make sure it is intact.

Yes, all the simple things have been checked, but the entire display is inverted..mouse and all.

Okay,

1. Does the image display this way as soon as you turn on the computer, or after the operating system loads?

2. Have you tried a different monitor or video card?

The display is inverted with the OS. I have not tried using another monitor, but I have done a print screen and opened the file from another PC and it opens right-side up!! The problem has to be with the view on my monitor....???

Hang on, I didn't get a specific answer there...

Does the image display this way as soon as you turn on the computer, or after the operating system loads?

In other words, does your initial screen when POST occurs and your BIOS processes look normal?

Ok, Win 2000 bug or some possibly it was in EMF view, which would invert the display image. We are ok now.
