Hi,

I created an Access database in Office XP and converted it to '97. After I copied it to the Office '97 machine (running Win 95) and tried to open it, I got a "MSAccess caused an invalid page fault in Module MSAccess.exe at 014f: 300099cd". Then, Access closes and the .ldb file remains and must be deleted. I copied it back to the original (XP) machine and it opens fine there.

Has anyone seen this before or have any suggestions?

OfficeXP and any Office XP member such as Access, Word, Excel, etc, do not like the Windows 95 OS at all.

Rememberthat XP and any XP product, OS, or program is based on 32 bit technology. Windows 95 is 16 bit. You may have dumbed down your Access XP file format to A97 format, but, it is nothing at all like the A97 which would run on A95(it did not do that very well, either). Robert Berman
