IntuityLX Remote Access 2

I am trying to Dial in to a IntuityLX system. I am able to dial in and sign in with the sappp username and password. Once i am signed in i get a message saying "no directory /home/sappp!" "logging in with home = "/"." "start PPP now"

then it just puts up a bunch of characters for about 5 lines then disconnects. This is where i am lost. how do i complete the login process so i can make programming changes remotely?

Click the done button on the terminal window. Then web browse to the PPP server IP address (right click and select properties on the network dial ip icon in the system tray to find it out).

Will this work even if im not on thier network? i am using the emulation on ASA.

Yeah it'll work via dial up. Once you see the start PPP now! message in the terminal window click the ok button. Then open up the web browser and browse to the server IP address. Then you'll see the login box. You'll login with either craft, sa, or vm. Bear in mind it'll be slow via a dial up connection.

You don't use ASA to dial in. You use your PC's dialup networking, like you would be dialing up to an internet provider for example.

Create a dial up networking session. On the properties screen, on the security tab check the display terminal window. Dial the new connection. When the modem authenticates you'll see the terminal window appear with a login. Then you enter the PPP login and password. When you see the start PPP now! message click ok at the bottom of the window. This will minimize into your system tray. Right click the dial up networking icon and select properties. Then click on the status. This will show you the client and servers IP addresses. Open a web browser and put the servers IP address into the address bar of the web browser. This will show the intuity login page. That should do it.
