What are the pros and cons?

It looks to me that IP Office mode has more features to me.

IP office mode is faster, Intuity mode has more options. But I have to tell you that I only installed one IP Office mode system in the 6 years I do this so I have not really looked into IP Office mode in about 5 years.
I know that Europe prefers the IP Office mode and in the US and Canada the Intuity has the more familiar interface and lots of voicemails use the same options so customers don't need to learn new procedures.

I enjoy every moment of it :)

as westi

IP Office mode = UK / EU
Intuity = US cause they arent as clever and need more options.

use intuity if you want to take 5 minutes to listen to one message.

Too bad that most new features only are for intuity mode !
Pres**N for this pres *N for that

You need a paper in front of you to quickly go true the menu :)

IP Office mode may not be supported for much longer.
Think it comes into the same band as VM lite.

Thanks all.

I think I'll stick with Intuity.

The biggest drawback to Intuity was having to put the extension number in all the time but with Visual Voice that does not really seem to be an issue.

You can get round that by going to the default User Collect start point in VM Pro and adding a get mail action set to "callers mailbox", then you will not need to add enter the extn anymore :)

Worth noting that when you dial into voicemail from an extn, and it prompts the caller to enter their mailbox number, if the # is pressed, then the number of the calling extn is taken as the mailbox, and the system then prompts for the passcode.

This is also true on an outcall, when it rings to notify of messages and asks for the mailbox to be entered, entering a # suffices to have the mailbox that caused the outcall to be used against which the passcode will be requested.

Cheers TD, helpfull as ever :)

Perhaps he is responsible for that "Today is not a good day" wav file that snuck in there :)

I'd love to lay claim to writing the VmPro, but alas not one I could honestly lay claim to.
