Intuity LX & G3si Rel 6

Morning All -

I'd like to know has anyone installed an LX on a switch this old? And if so, did you run across any problems? We have a customer who wants to upgrade to an LX on their Rel6 si. Thanks In Advance.

I don't know any particular infomation for your situation, but it might be helpfull to know that Intuity Lx does have some issues with the power supply. The power supply has a circuit in it that if it 'sees' an over or under voltage situation, it will cut off power to the Intuity. The only way that power is restored is to disconnect power from the Intuity LX, then the power supply resets. This is why a UPS or a surge supressor is advised to condition the power before is takes the Intuity out of service. This may also be the case with the newest regular Intuitys, as I think that they might be using the same supplier for that box too.

you can configure your LX as Mode Code instead of Switch Link. This should work.
