I have a mAP5 release 4.4 with voice board, maintenance board. Does not have a network card but looks for one on boot up. I also have a Prologix release 9. I have a TN746B analog pack.

I am trying to install/integrate my Intuity with the Prologix. I have hit a road block. I cannot seem to get the ports to answer. I set the Intuity to Definity Mode Code and I cannot get it to answer. I dial the Audix hunt group and get a fast busy.

Not sure what to do...so I need help.

Also, what model SMC LAN cards work in a release 4.4 MAP5?

Charles

Hi
Have you check the intuity audix is using DCIU or MODE CODE
to connect pbx.
If using DCIU method you must using processor link setup the mail

heres the deal, if you originally had the Intuity hooked up to a Definity using X.25 integration than you will have to have Avaya dial into the Intuity to change it to Clan in order to work with a prologix. Prologix does not use processor interface at all. if you have a 4.4 Intuity you MAY be able to reload the integration from tape? I do know that on the newer ones you HAVE to have Avaya dial in to do this. Even id you want to use mode code you will still gave to change the integration type thru audix. as for the LAN card trying to load when you boot, Intuity does that on all models regardless if you have a LAN card or not.

OK again, it is a 4.4 with Mode Code and no lan card on the Intuity. Is there ANY way to get it working with Prologix?

Damn I wish I had known.

Charles

First, Display the "System Paramaters Customer" screen on the Definity. Check and see if "Mode Code Interface" is flagged to "y". If not, you will need to get Avaya to make the change. Next, check to see how the Intuity analog voice ports are set up in the Definity. The station type should be VMI.

thanks contact an Avaya partner and we are working on it.
