I have an Intuity Audix Rel 4. We lost power in the building last night and the Audix is stuck with a number of error messages. it seems that it can't mount the volume and it says "press ctrl, alt, del to reboot". but when I do it returns to the same messages. can any one help or is this hard drive done.

Thanks.

Sounds like its too the point where you need AVAYA to get in with their access level to troubleshoot it.. Since its more of a partition/file system error..

I am assuming that you shut it right off and then turned it back on as well as only CTRL-ALT-DEL.

If so then the above is correct. Contact your Avaya Business Partner.

There is a known issue related to some MAP5 Audix systems that will cause them to fail when rebooted. You didn't specify the platform. I would suggest contacting Avaya. Check the web site to see if you can locate the QPPCN related to the MAP5 motherboard issue.

If this is simple a file system failure, you may be able to restore the system. Find the floppies, tapes, and call Avaya. James Middleton

Thanks Guys,
I checked the web site and I am familiar with that MAP 5 problem. It only happens with the Intuity Audix Velocity, the ones with the Acer Motherboard.
I called AVAYA and they said to get the floppys, and tapes and call them to restore the disk. I am looking for them now. If any one has access to the unix boot disk for a Unix-5 rel 4.2 Ver 1.1.2 please let me know.
Thanks,
