Intuity Audix autmatically connects to Mailbox on VM retrieval?

We have an AVAYA S8700 (CM2.2) connected to an Intuity Audix LX (1.1). when the system got installed, we are sure we had set it up in a way that if you dial into Audix to retrieve messages, it automatically connects you to your mailbox and prompts for the password.
Then with some config changes, we are not able to get this functionality back, now if you dial into Audix, you are prompted for the Mailbox number, you can then press # only instead of typing the entire mailbox number
Does anyone know how to get the 'auto-login' back?

That sounds neat. But what if I want to check my messages from another persons desk. That would not be possible with this setup.

that'll work, too, you just need to press * to interrupt the auto- login process, then enter the Mailbox number you want to listen to

Hi,

Dont know if this works same as in Octel land, but I recently had similar issue and it was caused by not putting the extension in the name feild on the station form. Just throwing it out there, not sure if same issue as Intuity...

What config changes did you make that made this go away, can you retrace your steps to single out that change?

I wish we knew what we changed, then it would be easy...it worked sometime during the initial setup, once we were finished it did not work anymore. Maybe a million setting were changed in between :-(

We set up ours by using the personal abbrieviated dial list, programming in the digit string to dial uadix ,pause, # and programming a button on the phone for the abb. dial.
