I'm trying to find the best method of attaching a preloader and intro to a rather large website. Everything (even site) is constructed in FLASH. However, I've found the site doesn't like when I try to put frames in front of the opening page. Is this the best method? If so, I guess I'll just deal with it. Im just wondering whether I should do it differently.
Thanks,

What does "doesn't like" mean exactly?
And "put frames"?
Do you mean adding the preloader script in front of your first scene, or inserting a new scene in front of all the others?

Best thing to do is definitely to add a new scene to your movie (windows>panels>scene then hit "+"). Put your preloader script into that scene then drag it within the window so that it's before your main movie (in other words it becomes the first scene of your movie will run before the main movie is shown).

If you're trying to add frames to the main movie in the timeline window it's much more awkward, scenes keep things separate and editable.
