Hello,

Ive got my intranet up and running, however 5 machines connected to the network are unable to view the pages, and I dont know why.
All the other machines can access the pages without any problem.

I have tried keying in the servers IP address to locate the pages, and reffering to it by name, however neither of these options work.

When I use the IP address on 2 of the 5 machines, I can access some of the pages, but not all, some complain about a missing object and just refuse to load.

Can anyone help?

Hi, check your proxy override settings.

Tools/internet options/connexion/network settings/Do not use proxer server for local addresses. Be sure to include the name of your intranet.

Hope this helps. Please let know if this resolve your issue

THats for the advice, will try it out.

Could I ask what you mean by the name of the Intranet? as in the http:// version of it and where would I put this (address bar?)

It all works, thanks for your help, would never have thought about looking at that bit.

Thanks.
