About 15 years old ...

Well, thanks for the info. I am using VB5 and want to create Internet apps. My info states I nee IIS 3.0 and Active Server Pages Extions. Is this stuff too old to work with. I am a retired programmer (RPGLE IBM midrange) and do this to keep active. really don't want to spend the money to go to VB.Net. If VB5 is too old, I will just move on. Thanks for all help!!

Depending on your OS, you might be able to enable IIS on your current system. I just checked and it looks like it is available on my laptop. I am running it on a couple Vista laptops at work.

That'll be the earliest version that'd work. Later versions of II should also be fine.

XP, for example, ships with IIS 5.1 - although it is not installed by default - which happily supports classic ASP
