I have two very small offsite offices (3 users and 6 users) that have road runner internet access. We need software to monitor how long they are using it, etc. Also need to block sites.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a small program? Everything I am finding is on a very large scale, which I don't need in these two offices.

Each location has a server, one is windows 2000, one is windows 2003.

Desktops are almost all Win2k, with 2 98 machines still left.

Any recommendations would be helpful!!

I am looking for similar software. We used to have Sygate Office Network, which did a great job of activity logging and reporting. Maybe this will work for you -- although we were on dial-up and W98, and now we're on broadband DSL and W2000.

So...I don't even know if we can use sygate any more. Our network is configured without it.

A proxy server may be what your looking for. Check around on the Squid proxy server, it free. My office environment is similar in size, and i just took an old PC and set up Squid with out any probs. Just my 2 cents! Good luck!
