I have ISS installed on an XP Pro server. I have one web site up and running. I want to install a second site, (different site name, same IP) with ISS. How do I get them to work at the same time? The directory won't show the first site's page without the index, so I know something (something?) has to be virtual? I found the help index doesn't have enough info for me to work with. I have also seen the help site at MS on ISS. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated--really!

XP Pro is not a server OS.
You are facing a stated limitation of XP with IIs.

There are several workarounds: Google "xp iis multiple sites"

I personally would use Apache for this requirement.

I had Apache going on this (because I thought it was good)and was told IIs was better. Good Grief! which ever I can get to run two pages will work for me. But I couldn't get the Apache to do what I needed either.

This link has helped so much...thank you! I have everything set so it looks similar to what is on the link, but now I have a problem when running the test. "Problem on line 968
Document root takes one argument, root directory of the document tree"
I have looked at the document root and line 968...can't figure out what it wants. I have turned the slashes, made sure they matched, added a slash on the end, non of those worked. Where might I look for help on this.
thank you, thank you, thank you.
