Internet Explorer Pop-Up Problem!! :>;-(

I am having a problem with my Internet Explorer.

My computer is linked to a network with isdn line.

While working on my computer the Internet Properties keeps flashing and popping up in the background even though I dont want it to and seems to freeze the screen!

Please could someone tell me the cause of this and how to fix this extremely irritating problem!

Are you sure it is not the debugger window?
Open Internet Explorer (any website will do) and select tools>internet options>advanced

You will see two options, disable script debugging, which you want checked, and display a notification about every script error which you want unchecked.

Otherwise, do two online virus scans. I like Trend Micro and Panda from smah's FAQ: faq760-3862

no. It is definately the internet properties. it just random pops ups every once in a while it happen about five or six times a day!

it driving me crazy!

What Anti-virus package are you using?? have you run the security checkup available at

http://www.symantec.com??
