Occasionally when I'm browsing the net, a box comes up with this message:

A runtime error has occurred.
Do you wish to Debug?

Line: 4
Error: Syntax error

[Yes] [No]

Also, the first time I open an IE window after connecting to the internet, nothing happens. When I ctrl+alt+delete and end iexpore, it works fine (the window I was trying to open even comes up!). Then it works OK.

And just now, I'm getting the "An error has occurred in iexplore.exe ..." box when I close an IE window (although not every time, just sometimes).

These probs aren't too bad, just a little annoying. Anyone know how to fix them? (Reinstall IE?) [Thanks in advance|Hope I helped you]

To stop the first error message from popping up go to:
Tools> Internet Options> Advanced and untick display notification of every script error.

I suspect your problems go deeper, however. If you're still using IE 5.5, maybe it's a good time to install IE 6.0!

I'm using IE 6.0

I will try that option when I get back to my computer [Thanks in advance|Hope I helped you]

How 'bout IE 6 service pack 1? Go to Windows Update in the tools menu....
