Internet explorer close by itself after 5-10sec

Hi,

a number of users have reported that after doing windows updates, when they open internet explorer, it closes by itself after a few seconds, I tried to do IEfix, clean spywares, do a sfc /scannow, do a windows repair and nothing works.

Firefox works fine also.

I tried to install windows fresh on a new machine and then do the windows updates, and I got the problem after the reboot. It started on tuesday.

I tried removing the windows patch with the add/remove software, but I can't seem to find the patch causing the trouble.

Anyone have seen the problem and been able to find a solution?

Just delete the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\ {c90250f3-4d7d-4991-9b69-a5c5bc1c2ae6} registry entry if it exists.
