Looks like they have abandoned Windows 2000. IE7 can only run on XP and 2003. I just hope my service provider doesn't do something stupid like making its login page IE7 only. That happened when MS switched from IE5 to IE6. When I logged in on IE5, it just logged me out. It wasn't until I asked the ISP that they told me I needed IE6 to get it to work. Of course, I had to connect to the internet to get IE6 so I switched to Mozilla and have been using it ever since. It is supported on all OSs and for what I'm doing it is absolutely fine.

I wonder if they've fixed the installation problem: the one that asks which disk you wish to install it on. You specify D because you know that D has tons of space and C has very little space. It then tells you that it can't install because there is insufficient space on C. If they've made up their mind to install on C, why ask?

It looks like RC1 breaks Zone Alarm Security Suite's virus update function. The update doesn't work.

Im sure it will be a mess for awhile so Ill stick with IE 6 for now.

I've been using IE7 since Beta 2 and so far it's been very stable i haven't encountered many sites that have given me issues. All of the browser plugins that i used with IE6 still work under 7 as well. It's a massive improvement over IE6 which i still use on my work PC, it still has some catching up to be as good as Firefox but it's closing the gap and with IE8/9 in the pipeline i'm sure it will get there.

I've seen a couple of Favorites absolutely NOT respond when I click on them. Nothing happens. Shut down IE7 RC1 and restart it fixes the problem. Very strange.
