Internet Explorer 6 + SP1 and Proxy Server

Hi.

We had updated from Internet Explorer 5 to IE6 + SP1.
We use a proxy server and have now the problem that after the authentication at our proxy server the starting site could not be displayed. Just after clicking on the update button in the IE6 the starting side is displayed.
Any ideas how we can fix this problem ?
