We are getting the following error on our Sybase 11 db:

internal sql router error - error code 2031

Please help ?!

First can you send the version of ASE you are running please

select @@version in isql

Where are you getting this error? In sybase errorlog or when connecting from application. If application displays this message can you specify what this application is doing (isql, JAVA/JDBC etc).

This error was generated by a Centura front-end application which is used primarily for date input.

thanks for the info. The error that you are getting seems to be an application specific error (as opposed to sybase error). Have you looked at what this means in your aplication doc/support. Do you also get any error in Sybase errorlog at that time, for example "client connecttion diosconnected" etc?
