Hi guys,
I have a .dbf that when I try to scan, it generates the error "Internal consistency error". What would cause this error on a table. It happens only on a particular record and if I delete it, it doesn't happen.

Thanx,

Phita

Phita,
Internal consistency errors happen for a number of reasons, but one of the most common is a bad index file. If you delete the record, then that index link probably won't be used - solving the problem. Next time try reindexing or better yet recreating the indexes.
