Anyone know how to set this feature without programming a button on the phone? I can't find it to create a system short code. We use 5410's and dont have the space for an additional button.
 
I think it is only available on a button. No system short code to turn it on.

Look at the feature "Dial Direct"

Creat a short code *83*N#
Telephone number: N
Line ID:0
Feature: Dial Direct.

This basically is auto intercom. You dial the code *83*N (being the extension)# and your call comes over the persons speaker automatically. If that person is already on a call then your call would go to their voicemail.

This sets auto answer for both speaker and headset.

Doesn't work if programmed in User rights only in User short codes.

Phone rings once then answers automatically

If you program a button for this the phone doesnt ring, the user gets a beep in the ear or phone.
