intermittently, XP requires mouse move before Click or Type

Punishment began only recently without provocation.

I can live with the other problems that cropped up - the 5 second delay every other 5 seconds when browsing internet or windows- BUT this affects my drafting !

I can click into a text box on a web page, the cursor flashing but no typing shows up until I bump the mouse

I click any object in windows or in AutoCAD, the click may not take unless I move the mouse after clickDown and before clickUp

The problem is intermittent

Can you try another Mouse?

Do you have a problem in Safe Mode, or in Normal Mode as another user?
