Intermittent loud high pitch noise

Hello;

Running IPO 500 V2 8.1

We have an older polycom wireless phone (Pots Line)

It's set up as a conference phone and randomly there will be high pitch noise that will kill the call. Unfortunately I don't have a trace to offer, but I'm hoping someone may have had something similar happen and what the fix/solution was.

Are you using 1 line or multiple lines in the conference.

@tlpeter - I'll give that a try

@1043 - It usually happens when we have 5 or more people on the call - we use 1 line.

I have incountered high pitch squeeling on conference calls using multiple pots lines on Legacy Avaya eguipment but never a single line.

Try a different phone or even your testset to see if its isolated to the phone or the system.

Also try it with the line connected directly to the polycom.
