I've created a client / server app in VB, and have successfully deployed it. I have an EXE server component running on a remote workstation with callbacks to the client workstation working perfectly. I've configured DCOM and everything was working fine.
I just RE-compiled my server EXE component and re-registered it on the Server, and then re-registered it on my clients and now I'm receiving all sorts of different errors.
429 - Can't Create ActiveX
430 - Class doesn't support automation
also... Interface not registered error (i forget the number)
If I run the client and server EXE on the SAME workstation though, there is no problem, it's only when I try to connect remotely.
I've also reverted back to the previous component and that seems to rectify the problem.
Any ideas, cuz I'm completely lost here....
1 more piece of info (my ActiveX EXE is set to Project Compatibility)
