Interconnecting Passport and Avaya EPABX over 2mb leased link

HI,

I want to interconnect my Avaya EPABX to Nortel Passport.
These are a distance apart.
I am using the serivce provider 2mbps link to connect these 2 sites.
the interace used is G.703 to connect the leased link on the EPABX.
When the link is terminated on the Passport and EPABX the status shows UP on the 2 sides but when I try to place a call from the EPABX the status of the Voice service on the Passport does not change. The call does not mature.
Can I have a DS1 config for TONE programming and if possible the trunk group programming.
