I'm working at specing a server for our office and am debating going with dual Xeon CPU's or a P4 EE. The server would be running Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition and MS SQL Server 2000. Looking at 5 SCSI HDD's running in a Raid1/Raid 5 configuration.

If you know of any reasons why one CPU would be better than the other I would appricate the input.

Thx.

The Xeon may be cheaper. had an article on this a while back. I guess it depends how new the Xeon CPUS are and what motherboard you use. Some dual Xeon Motherboards are pricey.
