Intel 2200BG Wireless Driver Not Loading

I just installed a 2200BG MiniPCI wireless adapter in a Dell Inspiron 1150 notebook, and loaded the latest Intel drivers. The adapter worked fine the first time I powered up. However, I just powered it back on, and the driver will not load. Hardware detect finds the device, installs the correct driver, but the driver will not load.

Any thoughts?

Do you get an error message- don't understand that if it worked the forst time, why is it trying to install the driver again?
What can you see in device manager? What happens if you uninstall it and then reboot again?
Is it one where you must start the software cd first before installing the device?
