I need to integrate a Hardware device with MICROS POS software, does someone know how to do this?.
The device is an automatic payment machine. We need that the POS software, when it has the list of products that the customer wants to purchase and then the total amount to be paid, communicates with our software to send this data (total amount), then the software will manage the hardware to arrange the payment (cash in/cash out) and anwers to the POS software to continue its tasks (print receipt, ...).

We would be very grateful of any help...

Do you have a MICROS lab system up and running? If you do, there are documents in the help sections that briefly discuss how to send basic PMS messages using SIM.

We never used MICROS software or subsystem. In fact what we really need to know is:
a) If there is a free to use platform to integrate hardware with MICROS software
b) If there are external companies/people with access to this platform (because an agreement with MICROS) and they can help use to do the integration
b) This kind of integration must be done by MICROS.

In the first case, It would be nice to find a website information about how to start
In the second case, I would like to contact such people/companies with capacity to do the kind of integration that I need
In the third case, I already tried to contact MICROS but the're really hard to contact with, they only gave me a general e-mail address and waiting for their answer.

Thanks for your support.
