We have the latest version of Avaya's Integrated Management Suite (3.0) and are in the process of implementing it. My question is, what features of AIM have others out there found very useful?
It looks like the VoIP Management tool can be helpful if we find certain endpoints are having issues and need to look into the network further.
The FPM tool is where I have some questions. We have 100+ Avaya switches to monitor. Do other users send alarm notifications via email? Do you use FPM and have someone monitor it? Do you just rely on Avaya/BP to do the alarm monitoring? Do you use FPM for performance statistics, or do you use other traffic tools?
What about the MSA? We use ASA right now, and it seems to be a little quicker than MSA if you aren't moving to different switches all the time. I'm basically looking to see if there are advantages of this platform that we're really missing the boat on. Thanks.
