pull it out of the slot... put in the new one. It's really that easy.
You didn't mention if you had an IP Connect or a Multi Connect. For an IP Connect, you'll have to administer the static IP address of the IPSI, as seen on the `list ip-server` screen in Definity. See page 4 of the document below for how to do that
For a Multi Connect, you will have to set the LED identifier on the IPSI once you insert it. Yours will probably need to say A01.
