I am getting an error when exiting a VB application:

Application.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x030d01f0" referenced memory at "0x0d01f003". The memory could not be "written".

Click OK to terminate the application

This is a production custom program that was working just fine until we upgraded to ie 5.0. Before that all machines were running ie 4.0 with no problems. We have experimented with different hardware and different versions of IE. if ANY ie version 5.00 or over installed on ANY machine we get this error (with varied memory addresses).

Any information you have, even if you don't think it is EXACTLY what we need would be much appreciated!

Going on your last comment (...even if you don't think it is EXACTLY what we need.... I have this comment to make:

I recently wrote a VB wrapper for a C dll written by FedEx, to be used in an ASP web page and When developing my wrapper, I was getting this same error.

THe cause of the problem was that I had incorrect data types on the API calls to FedEx's dll.
That being said, I don't think this will help you if it was previously working??????

Thanks Simon!

Any info is helpful. . I'll check the API calls. . it could be that IE replaced a dll that made the calls invalid. Anyone else? We're still grasping at straws!!!
