Instralling SUS on a 2003 Server

I'm trying to install Microsoft Software Update Services (v1 with SP1) on a Windows 2003 Server, but it always fails when trying to start the services. I get the error "Service 'W3SVC (W3SVC) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services". I am logged on as the domain administrator, and I have tried logging on as the administrator on the local machine as well, but still the same problem.

Any idea?

That is your web service in IIS. Have you configured IIS and Web Services to run? I had a similar issue when testing out Exchange 2003 with out having IIS web services installed.
