Just bought a new computer. Have been using sidekick 95 for many years but I see its been discontinued and no longer has tech support. What would you all suggest using in place of Sidekick for calendar and contacts? Thanks!

Dear Peechee,
I would suggest Sidekick98 + the Y2k Patch.

The other options are
1.Palm Desktop,
2.Outlook,
3.Anytime Organiser

All the numbered ones above put Tasks & Todos in one long list, whereas Sidekick98 does things the same way as Sidekick95 (Only better)!
Of course that is only my opinion but for the moment I still think Sidekick98 has the edge.

I've been looking for the sidekick 98 download on line without any success. the links to zdnet (german) don't show any files for sidekick 98. and can't get into the ftp server address either. got any other links? thanks for the help.

never mind! found your info in the faq section. thank you!

I have a Samsung I500, after a system crash I am not able to synchronize with TrueSynce HotSync Manager 2.0. I have also tried Palm HotSync manger with no success. I have confirmed with Palm Hot sync that the system is communicating with the I500 but will know sync. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
