Instant Messaging

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me with Exchange instant messaging. I'm trying set this up on my Exchange Server, problem is, when running System manager. If i open my server name, then protocols and look for Instant Messaging (RVP) this does not appear in the list ? I of course cannot configure an instant messaging vitual server.

What am I doing wrong, please can you help...

Yes I did,

It was simply that the messaging service was not installed, that being the reason the RVP protocol was not visible in the protocol list.I installed messaging and problem solved.

HEHEHE, yes I found that out shortly after my message, and felt very dumb

Its just that if you look at the install screen it appears the Parent group is ticked so everything below should be selected and because I wasn't hitting "Change" I couldn't choose instant messaging which just confirmed my wrong suspision that I needed diff version of exchange.
