Having same problem as thread#602-973757(please read).I have Dell Dimension 2400 with XP Sp2. I've tried all 3 PCI ports, which I know are working as I've installed video & audio cards no problems. I've tried 3 different new cards(Belkin & Ali) Installed Belkin on another system in office, with WIN2000, no problems. I've upgraded BIOS, Chipset. Tried installation with clean boot, un-installed XP SP2 and still no luck. The add new hardware wizard does not find the drivers. I've tried installation from the product CD also, and this will list device in Device Manager and show as "this device is working properly" but it is not.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Check for IRQ conflicts with other system resources. Two resources sharing an interrupt line may show to the system, but not work properly.

Thanks felixc. Unfortunately I'm unable to do that, as on the resource tab it says, "this resource isn't using any resources because it has a problem". Do you know anything about the ACPI HAL which controls resources in WIN2000/XP? I'm afraid I may have to re-install to get system to recognize card. See Microsoft article#315278.

Thanks for the reply.

So you did try placing the USB card in a different PCI slot?
