Hello All,

I have read through numerous posts and have not found a clear way of installing an ODBC driver on a PC thats non-micros to access the Micros Database. I see the Adaptive Server Anywhere 9.0 ODBC driver on the server and it what i use there, as well as dbisql. I just want to set up an ODBC on a PC that has MS excel or MS access so I do not have to remote in to access the micros data. We are using Micros version 4.9.3.2824

Thanks again for reading, you're all awesome!!

If you're dealing with multiple locations, going with an OLE connection is probably a better idea; pmegan posted a connection string for Micros a while back, which happend to be usable for VB (therefore excel).

The settings I gave you are for Windows 7, 64 bit, but they should apply just fine to Windows XP, given that they were for installing the 32bit drivers anyway.
