I've recently purchased NAV 2007 for a desktop PC that I have. I believe that NAV makes you register after the installation or else the software stops working after 30 days (I would imagine in an effort to combat sharing the software 'illegally'). My question is that I own a laptop that I would like to install this same software on (to keep from having to purchase it again) so I went to the Symantec website to find out if this was allowed but was unable to find anything.

Has anyone else run into this issue? I'm not being cheap but the software costs $50 and both devices belong to me.

All the EULA's for norton products can be found here
According to the 2007 AV EULA

During the Service Period, You may:
A. use one copy of the Software on a single computer.

Personally i'd go with Linney's suggestion, it's what I use on all of my computers and I alway recommend it to others.
