I have a opt11 which I have moved to a new office in a different area BT have installed a new isdn 30 into the office and I am having problems getting it working could some one talk me though the programming. would it be better to remove all the old config and start again if so how?

usually best to delete all the old unless you can see any changes you need to make. i might modify one and reuse it, but i have installed hundreds, and don't need the books very often. the answer to your question depends on your comfort level. i can't go into detail about the e1, we use pri t1. maybe a search will help. i assumed someone fromt he other side of the pond would have picked up on your post last night. the loads to address are 17, for the dch, 16, for the route data block and 14 for the trunks. since you have an old one in place, you don't need cequ and you can use most of the data on the d, ie card type, device number and port. if the interface type is the same, start type is the same, etc, the you can modify. remember after you make any change on a d, you have to bo to 96, dis the dch, dis the card (tmdi ?) and enl the card with a full down load. if you post your current config, maybe srmega or firebird scrambler will see your post and give you maore detail. i don't have euro merls, and haven't installed a e1 except in rolms...
