hi
just a quicky
i have got 2000ad server running as a dc and with a/d also running dhcp

i am trying to create a coreect gp model based on the company i work for, i need to know if i would have to install ISA first or does it not matter can i create my gp's ou's and then install ISA
i feel the network at work is not structured correctly and want to create a model at home to show a manager of the correct way of utilising A/D

installing ISA Server on a domain controller (DC)Is generally a bad idea from a security standpoint to install.

If you will be using ISA Server ENTERPRISE eddition and not the standard edition the software integrates tightly with the windows 2000 ad .So you will have to install this first.
If you want to install the server on a DC check the website isaserver.org for more details.
I would make the user GPO's after i install and config the software.
